Testing as per the Drugs & Cosmetics Act 1940

Drugs Inspectordraws the samples from all depots of corporation and looks after statutory provisions as per the Drugs & Cosmetics act 1940 & rules there under.

This procedure is followed after the receipt of the drugs to JMHIDPCL, which provides another check point related to the quality of the drugs.

Drugs Inspectors of Food & Drugs Control Administration also draw the samples from supplies made to Health Institutions.

Based on sub standard report of the drugs, recovery/replacement process is under taken, The same is informed to all direct demanding officers by circular.

As per the policy of corporation, debarring process is followed.

The name of debarred firms is also published on the website of JMHIDPCL.
